1. Membership & Eligibility

• Membership is open to individuals and businesses aligned with GKBC’s vision of economic growth and development.

• Users must provide accurate information during registration and keep their profile details updated.

• GKBC reserves the right to approve or deny membership applications.

2. Use of the Platform

• Members must use the platform responsibly and in line with GKBC’s objectives.

• Prohibited activities include:

  • Posting false, misleading, or harmful content.

  • Sharing hate speech, offensive material, or discriminatory remarks.

  • Engaging in fraud, spam, or unauthorized commercial advertising.

  • Violating intellectual property rights of others.

• Members are responsible for the content they share and must ensure it complies with Nigerian law and GKBC guidelines.

3. Privacy & Data Protection

• GKBC values member privacy and handles personal data in line with the Privacy Statement.

• By using the platform, you consent to GKBC’s collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Statement.

4. Intellectual Property

• All GKBC logos, branding, and official content remain the property of the Greater Kano Business Council.

• Members retain ownership of the content they post but grant GKBC a license to display and share such content within the platform.

5. Accountability & Enforcement

• GKBC may suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms of Service.

• Violations may also result in removal of content, restriction of privileges, or reporting to relevant authorities where necessary.

6. Disclaimer of Liability

• GKBC provides this platform “as is” and makes no guarantees of uninterrupted service.

• GKBC is not liable for damages arising from member interactions, third-party content, or unauthorized use of member information.

7. Amendments

• GKBC may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
